According to an article by Erica Solvig in the June 25th issue of the Desert Sun, home sales are starting to rebound in the Coachella Valley. It is true that if you look at figures for the first quarter of 2006 and 2007, the number of houses sold in 2008 is still lower. But he good news is that numbers are steadily rising over the last few months.
And the headline on Erica's article today "Valley's sales up 25% over March" is a welcome sight. "April's housing sales marked the strongest year-over-year showing the Coachella Valley has seen since September 2005.
I have heard many people say they were going to wait till the prices bottomed out before they bought invested in the real estate market again. Well the problem with that way of thinking is that the only way you know the prices have bottomed out is when they begin to rise!! So let's look at the situation right now; prices are down, inventory is up, interest rates are low.
Smart investors have read these signs are beginning to buy. Sales are increasing. Believe me when I say that prices will not continue to drop in this area.
Again, Heritage Palms is a great value. Right now there 34 homes for sale in Heritage Palms with prices ranging from $259,000 to $725,000. There are homes on the golf course, homes off the golf course, there are single family dwellings and duplex homes, some with pools, some without pools. There really is something for everyone.
Now is the time. As soon as the fall season starts, the prices will begin to go up as the number of buyers in the valley increase.

April was a banner month.
Heritage Palms is still one of the best values in the Coachella Valley. And recent home sales are proving my point. In the month of April 10 homes completed escrow and keys were turned over to the new owners. So contrary to the doom and gloom that you read in the paper, and hear on the news; homes are selling in the Coachella Valley.
If you are intereted in a 55+ community - come take a look at Heritage Palms. The home owners own the golf course and so there is no golf initiation fee. There is a club house, a fitness center, an indoor and outdoor pool. The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch. And the activities abound!! You will never be bored.
It is a great place to live.
